maui love 03:09
Come to you in the morning Come to you in the afternoon Come to you in the morning Come to you in the afternoon Ah ah ah ah, kiss your sunkissed back Ah ah ah ah, wipe the salt from your face Ah ah ah ah, dress the wounds the waves have made I'll come to you to you Come to you in evening Come to you in the midnight hour Ah ah ah ah, kiss the burns on face Ah ah ah ah, wipe the sweat from your brow Ah ah ah ah, heal the scars the day creates I'll come to you to you

You can call me friend Even as I leave you I have left you every thing you need But for me I have to go I have to go So that I can have you and rip you out of this darkness So that I can have you and rip you out of this darkness And draw you back to the place where Holy meets Holy You are now my friends through the life I gave up You'll endure some troubles of your own Helper comes when I go He'll come when I go So that I can have you and rip you out of this darkness So that I can have you and rip you out of this darkness And draw you back to the place where Holy meets Holy

Child I see you and your sunken eyes too Child I see you and your sunken eyes too I'm coming for you carrying love on my back for you I'm coming for you and your sunken eyes too Have you heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah Have you heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah Have you heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah Have you heard those cries... Child I hear you, "hold on" is nothing new for you Distant cries can fool saying "I'm too far from you." I'm coming for you and your broken heart too I'm coming for you, carrying love on my back for you Have you heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah Have you heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah Have you heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah Have you heard those cries... I have heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah I have heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah I have heard, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah I have heard your cry child I see you and your broken heart too I'm coming for you, carrying love on my back for you

about

In June of 2012, I released my "O Silly Skylark" EP. By then, nearly two years had passed since sitting down with my friend, Jim Haley, to lay down some tracks. These songs were written all over the place: one in Hawaii, a couple in Portland, OR and then one overseas in Swaziland, Africa.

I've spent the last couple years writing, singing and playing for my YouTube Channel. Come visit me there so you can hear how things have developed since recording this early ep.

Thank you for being a part of my "beginning." I hope you'll stick around to hear my current and future work. I cannot wait to share those songs with you.
